SMCHD data comes from a variety of state and national sources, including the U.S. Census, the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS), the Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System (YRBSS), the Area Health Resource File, the Maryland Vital Statistics Administration, the Maryland Department of Health (MDH), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) WONDER database, the Environmental Public Health Tracking Network, the Maryland Health Services Cost Review Commission (HSCRC), and more. Each indicator page includes the source of the data, the URL of the source, and when this data was last updated.
